What is a rig kit?

A rig kit is a drilling rig that has not been assembled. However, all major welding is done for you. There are no intricate assembly items. The rotation head, crawler tracks and diesel engine come as pre-assembled components ready to bolt on (hydraulic coupling of these items will be required).

All major components of the drilling rig. For example, Rotation Head, Diesel Engine, Crawler Tracks, Hydraulic Cylinders, Hydraulic Pump and Controls are all major components. *dependant on options and specific unit.

What is not included in the kit? *
A.
Paint. Engine Battery. Nuts. Bolts. Hydraulic fittings and hoses are not included in the kits. *other small items may also be required depending upon your rig kit and options. All required parts are inexpensive off-the-shelf items available from local suppliers.

How do I build the kit? Do you provide instructions?

We provide a detailed assembly manual with comprehensive instructions and blow up diagrams of each sub-assembly. We also provide free unlimtied telephone support. Rig fitters/consultants are available at your request to assist you in building your rig kit.

What are my kit options?
A.
The modular construction of the rig kits allows you to pick different mast lengths, clamping systems and even rotation heads with adjustable torque and RPM options and upgrades. Almost every aspect of the kit is 'optional'.
