The K40 and the K60 are flexible enough to drill with hollow stem augers along with trip hammers for soil sampling. The high torque of the JT 200 rotation units allows test bores to be drilled fast and efficiently to greater depths than similar rigs. Cat-heads or capstan winches can be added along with high speed winches for wire line sampling. The option of a slide away rotation head gives clear access to the open bore for sampling.
