THE K40 GEOTHERMAL RIG KIT
The K40 is designed to work inside buildings and restricted access sites. With the best combination of power and stability it is capable of drilling with augers, casings and down the hole hammer rock drills up to 355mm diameter (14”). The unit can be equipped with width adjustable rubber tracks expanding from 725mm (28.5”) to 1000 (39”) and is able to drill 30° side to side. As well as drilling from the horizontal to 3° over vertical. The 62kW (83hp) remote diesel or electric power unit can be up to 100m (330’) from the drilling rig. Two different mast lengths are available with 1.4m (4’7”) and 2.4m (7’10”) strokes.

(2 3/8”) through bore for direct flushing.

• Mast fore and aft movement +3° to -90°.
• Standard mast height 3.6m (11’10”), stroke 2.4m
(7’ 10”), with 6,300kg (13,800 lbs) pull back.
• Three position stabilizer jacks.
• Clamp system, 229mm bore (9”) with optional hydraulic dwrench cylinder.

• Hydraulic power unit 62 kW (83 hp) mounted in a drig towable frame.
